Sadly, I won't be in attendance for this one. After watching both teams in the first round it looks like they matchup decent, but I think Woodford just a little bit more height and athleticism. 

I see Woodford County coming out on top to advance onto the Final Four, thoughts? 

I don't know anything about Woodford County, but I find it hard to believe that anyone has more height in the tournament than Elizabethtown. What the heck, I'll take Elizabethtown to advance to Saturday to face Warren Central.

I was up in the stands, so obviously height does not stand out a ton from that angle. Woodford County has a 6'9 center in John McCrear committed to Murray State. 

They also have Jasper Johnson (top-20 in the nation for the soph. class) along with 2 D1 football players. One committed to WVU, and another with offers from WVU, UofL, and UK. Santonio Wade is also in the starting lineup, a small shifty guard that is one of the best on-ball defenders I have seen. Also a great guard, shifty enough to get past almost anyone.

Wonderful way to start the action Friday.  I am picturing a low scoring game.  Jasper needs to play better today for Woodford to win.  Evans has to avoid foul trouble for E-Town.  I think defense will dictate this one. Which ever team can find a way to get a few easy buckets will be key.  I will take E-Town 48-46. 

This game will tip-off this morning quarterfinal action at 11 am. Looking forward to it!
