That’s why I don’t like Saturday championships. One team is going to have an additional 3-4 hours rest.

I wonder if there’s a statistic of all the Saturday championship games with the number of times an upper bracket has been winner compared to the lower bracket. Not only does the upper bracket get a few hours more on Saturday, they have all of Thursday to to do the same. The teams that start on Thursday play straight through with no breaks. 

They won't admit it @The Professorbut I'm sure they went back to this format is that after 2020 they were hurting financially and don't want to play for the extra day's rent for Rupp and if you noticed they went to playing all of the football finals in just two days instead of 3.

I would like for someone to tell me how it the 7th region that Dupont Manual could possibly have a higher RPI than Sacred Heart who is undefeated in Kentucky and played Manual 3 times and defeated them all 3 times by 10, 15, & 16 points.

Because SHA played (3) out of state teams with a maximum .500 RPI score each plus their weak District with (2) teams under .350

What it means is the RPI is a useless ratings system if it has Manual rated higher than Sacred Heart.

It is worse than useless, if for no other reason than some people hang their hats on it.
