Trinity (24-7) (10-1) rolls into the 7th Region Championship playing championship level defense by beating Saint Xavier 51-41 and beating Manual 51-36. Male (24-10) (12-3) rolls into the championship after beating Atherton 82-61 and beating Ballard 75-67. They last played way back on 12/2 when Trinity won 64-57. Either one of these teams will be a contender for the state championship but one of them will be sitting home after this game. This should be a close game and if Trinity can continue their defensive effort they will move on. Male will counter with a strong offensive team and if can overcome the strong Trinity defense will move on. The championship will be Tuesday at Bellarmine at 7:00 pm. Does Trinity make it 2-0 over Male this season or does Male get revenge move on to the Sweet 16?
