I went thru this during my high school career. Worked my butt off but the coached listoned to a bunch of parents so my hard working butt stayed on the bench.

I wouldn't call a 3-point loss being brutalized. Unless you meant physically beaten up.

What is the outlook for these two teams next year ?? How many SR. and how good will they be ???

If you worked as hard as you say and didn't get on the floor you evedently didn't have no talent. Maynard does!!!! case closed!!!!!!! By the way I am still waiting for your p.m:madman: :fire:

You can't have much pride to make a statement like that. If he doesnt work hard, which isnt going to be the case at all, he will just fall farther back. That would be the main reason to work harder. Who is to say he can't get his spot back? Also, how could you be sastified with yourself if you put so much time into something but put no effort behind it? If you arent going to put the effort behind what your doing, whats the use of wasting your time doing it? But like I said, this isnt going to happen.

I agree he will continue to work very hard. But, I have watched 3 of the games since the switch and in the 1st game against East (as stated above he played well) he had 12 pts and 7 rebounds and in another loopsided game he had 14 and 4 and has contiuned to pick up his defense and his passing has been good. So like RoyalBlue stated, what does it take? Despite putting up better stats than his replacement, not saying he is a bad player, his minutes have went down.

I believe there is more to the situation. Do you know if he has done anything off the court to deserve this? From all indications he seems to be a nice young man.

See post 32 ???

Amos, you better pack your lunch pal! You'd best hope that a meeting with RB remained verbal. I don't understand your frayed nerve endings with regards to Rose Hill, no one here has hacked on Elliott. For instance, at the beginning of the season, I posed a query about Maynard because I knew nothing about him, you'd think I took a crack at the Pope. I was curious, not at all belittling the kid. I think it's obvious that RB thinks Maynard can play and I understood him to say he thinks that he should possibly be rewarded with his starting position back if he merits it. Then you slam on RB to say he "evidently had no talent" if he didn't play. Frankly, I hope that RH and Elliott can advance to the all-A finals this and can meet on the floor. Hey, amos, maybe RB can pony up for a hotdog. You guys can discuss world events and whatnot!

Is a triple negative a suspendable offense?

If your very smart you will see it's not about Rose Hill. Its about the maynards are upset because hes not starting(dont blame them for that)and everytime it seems one of the Elliott posters gets them calmed down and thinking positive here comes RB and makes a negative post and fires it up again which i think is trying to stir things up and evidently RA09 does too. Now if your suggesting a physical confrontation with him there is noone in boyd co with more experience in bar, ring, or cage than me other than my friend sammy scaff or Cecil Coffee. and I know RB is neither one of them:thumb:

I'll guess that it ain't not nary suspendible offense.:thumb:

Also Doc anyone who insinuates that a kid should give up or quit working doesn't have the kid's best interest at heart!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll also give you thumb's up on defending your own, but sometime's they are in the wrong. The other guy cant be at fault every time!

OFFICIAL WARNING

You guys are welcome to discuss this all you want, but the personal stuff needs to stop now.

Stay on topic... whatever that is at this point...

Keep it to Elliott County basketball, not on who could whip whom, or all you cats will be looking for somewhere else to talk basketball and do your woofing.

Elliott start's five soph's and only lose one senior. Rose hill is probably younger than that. And both should be awesome for a few seasons

Rose Hill starts 2 juniors, 1 soph, and 2 freshman. I guess if you average it out they are just about the same age. I agree with you about the next few seasons.
