Much needed win to avoid Grant or WV in the 1st round.  

IfcSK can hold you under 60 they can beat you.  Best defensive Neers team I've seen in a while.  Bilton played a great game tonight.

They just beat Conner by almost 30 points and Conner beat Cov Cath.

Which is why I said not many. That’s absolutely a great win. But overall their schedule hasn’t been very hard. Grant is a good team but not quite as good as their record says.

Most will say a weak record, however I wouldn't consider it "weak". If I had to describe it, I would say its a regular schedule, some very tough games, and a lot of games they should easily win. Their schedule gets a lot tougher these last few weeks. 

Another key component of their record is matchups, the 3 best defensive teams they have faced has been Owen County, Collins, and Simon Kenton. They have lost all 3 by double-digits. One key thing in all 3 of those teams is that they have height. Grant County is not a great team from behind the arc, and height makes it difficult for them to score inside. Another key factor with height is it hurts the game of Dylan Hammonds. He is responsible for a major part of their scoring, and scores majority of his points around the basket. With height on the inside, it makes things a lot harder for him. 

I wouldn't count Grant County out when it comes to tournament time, however if they get matched up against a team with size, it looks like they will struggle.

Correct, I saw that game and trust me, it was not the same team that Grant played.

They seem to be a lot better at home than on the road. Simon Kenton played a tough zone tonight and Dylan didn't`t have much room to work. They played a solid game and their big guy makes a difference underneath.

Many may not agree with this but I thought SK’s guard play made a huge difference in this one. The way Krohman and Bilton handled the Grant County defensive pressure was a huge factor in the result. Dynes also had a really good game inside I thought he was clearly the better big out of him and Wills. He made some impressive post moves.

At LCA+2 is a quality win, Anderson +16, Connor+25 both great win, Cooper+13, South ridge FL+15 pretty good wins. Beat down of Oldham and South Oldham solid wins regional wins.    I would not say they play a weak schedule at all.   
To say just weak or bad teams: Henry, Boone, Beth Haven, and Bryan station thus far. 

SK played well and congrats to them.  Bilton had a great game. Early fouls hurt Grant but didn’t determine the game.  Grant didn’t get to shoot bonus til last minute of game due to SK D which was really good.  
 

Travis Krohman is so dang efficient.  He burnt nets from outside and went to the hole strong.

Yea I would say you are right. Their schedule is tougher than I thought it was. That’s my bad. They are a solid team who has the chance to make noise in the postseason.
