2023 All 'A' Classic Statewide Bracket

? Hat tip to Evan Dennison for posting the update. 4th Region tourney begins today to fill the last spot.

Which first round pairings are the most intriguing?

Will this year's champion come from the top or bottom of the bracket?

Have any teams gone head-to-head this season?

Who's your dark horse pick?

Which small school players should shine in Richmond?

Any rising young stars in the making to look for?

Best coach in the tournament?

Who's hot; who's not?

I’ll take Covington HC/Pikeville to come out of the top bracket.

Ill take Bethelem/Whitefield to come out of bottom.

No clear cut favorite in my mind.

? Dark horse picks ~

Jackson County in the lower half.

Wouldn't be surprised if Danville Coach Judie Mason worked some magic in the upper half.

Monroe County defeated Glasgow tonight 42-37. The Lady Falcons are the final team in the bracket. They'll play 3rd Region champ Hancock County in Round 1.

The 8:30am starting time is a very tough draw. Leslie County and Covington Holy Cross will still be half asleep. But I understand very well that’s the only way the tournament can be played in one day for the first round.

At least the boys didn’t get the 930 pm game like last year.  That turnaround time was rough and the girls only played at 10.  I am sure they will be excited enough it doesn’t matter, but if they win they play at 830 on Friday then 830 Sat that kind of takes a little fun out of the trip, but better to play at 830 than not at all.

Carlisle County and Pikeville, who play in the first round, are about as far apart in distance as two school can be in Kentucky, 433 miles. One touches the Mississippi River and the other borders West Virginia.

Me too. One of those two will have the toughest road to the championship.

Expecting a close game, I'm keeping an eye on Bethlehem/Brossart. Think the winner there makes it to the final.

I have a potential All A State Champion contender in 3 of the 4 match-ups, and yet none of them are certain to win.  Those three are Holy Cross, Pikeville, and Bethlehem.
