You could certainly make that point, but you might change your mind if take in consideration their strength of schedule.

This year, Ryle is playing 5 teams in the top 25 of Calpreps (4 of which are out of district games). Ryle is ranked #37. That means they’re decent underdogs in 5 of their games. That’s pretty normal for Ryle.

Other teams in NKY choose to schedule differently. Take Beechwood as an example. They’re most likely favorites in all but one (maybe 2) games. I’d say heavy favorites in all but 2 games. That’s pretty normal for Beechwood.

Ryle’s “talent” is good enough to win 9-10 games vs Beechwood’s schedule for sure. But does that help prepare them vs top 6A comp? Does playing better comp increase their kids exposure and possibly receive more college scholarship offers?

Generally speaking, I think Ryle has very good NKY talent but average 6A talent.

We’re comparing apples and oranges.

Last post on the matter, as it’s a Beechwood thread, but Ryle has the most talent, not to mention size, in NKY year in and year out. Forget competing in 6A, they will still get throttled by NKY teams, which should never be the case.

One of the reasons I admire the historical and current success Beechwood has had is that they have done it without a ton of "D1" talent. Attempting to call them out for lack of success at the next lev

Cash needs to do what he thinks is best for him. Hopefully he is happy and gets what he is looking for. I wish him the best whether it is Beechwood, Cov Cath or somewhere else.

You have absolutely way to quantify who has most talent. You're just spouting hatred towards programs that you know nothing about. Probably get all of your information from a Ryle defector who's kid wasn't good enough to start so they moved elsewhere.

If Ryle played Beechwood's schedule the past 10 years, they'd probably would have won over 90% of their games, most wins with running clocks. I suspect you'd be on here complaining they don't play anyone.

As my old man used to say, “talk is talk, be better.”

Ryle does not play Beechwood’s schedule, and Beechwood does not have Ryle’s kids. Switch Noel Rash and staff to Ryle the last few years, and I guarantee you see a better product of football.

Well he’s at Holmes now.

As my old man used to say, “it’s easy to throw stones from behind a computer screen.”

My old man says this thread is a little long in the tooth.
