I’ve seen the video, as still frames rarely tell the whole story, and I don’t know how anyone from NewCath didn’t deck the kid. I’m not sayin he’s a dirty player, but that’s just a flat out dirty play. People have lapse in judgement always, but you can’t have this in any game. I’d say if my son had done this to an opponent I would’ve been kicked out for assaulting my child. No clue how this was handled at home but the fact the coaches LET him play the rest of the game is insane. I still can’t understand how he played the rest of the game and no one from NewCath didn’t give him a hard foul at the least. Forearm to the face while he’s driving would’ve been called for, for sure.

Change of my mind.  Here it is.  Was trying to get a better copy.  Should be a viewer discretion that it will make your blood boil and stomach churn at the way the NewCath kid fell.

One of the worst plays I’be ever seen at high school level. Had someone done that to my son I would have undoubtedly rushed the court.  He launched into him- did not just shove him.  The kid should be suspended for a minimum of 10 games. The school should also reprimand and possibly suspend the coach for allowing the kid who committed the foul to continue to play. The 3 officials should not be officiating at the high school level. Disgusting situation all around.

If that's not a flagrant ejectable foul I'd hate to see one. That needs to go to the KHSAA if for  no other reason than to address the officials in the game.

The coach needs some sort of punishment for keeping the player in. The officials most certainly need to be seriously reprimanded (maybe they will) for this. That’s about the easiest ejection call in all of sports. Wether they called a foul or not doesn’t change the outcome of the play, but it at least let’s fans know they saw what we saw. That being said, the officials needed to collect themselves and discuss, at length if necessary, what the ruling will be. Still gets me fired up this kid played the rest of the game. Terrible decision by the Williamsburg coaching staff.

This is a complete garbage play. His parents should be embarrassed by his actions. He even shoved another player after the foul. This kid does not deserve the right to play the rest of the season. It shows zero control of his emotions and with zero punishment he is likely to hurt someone else.
