Central Hardin junior RBs Walker Meredith (117 yards), and Mason Gardner (4 TDs), led a productive Bruin rushing attack agaoinst North Hardin. The Central Hardin defense ranks 2nd in 6A, only allowing an average of 10 points per game and is second in 6A in team rushing, averaging 270 yards a game. It all starts up front where the offensive and defensive lines have dominated most opponents and in the defensive secondary, Central Hardin has 11 interceptions on the year to rank in the top 5 in the state.

South Oldham appears to have a very balanced attack on offense with Nick Hamilton throwing to 3 different receivers (Reagan, Varner, Oliveros), and RB Jeffry Burton handling the rock. It will be a great game to watch ion the trenches as South Oldham has some studs up front to challenge Central Hardin in the trenches.

I will take Central Hardin in this one by 2TDs. I hope I am right as South Oldham has dominated this series the last few years.

I think this game is gonna tell us a lot about where both teams are headed into the playoffs. Should be a good ole fashioned fight. I do think CH is just a little more well rounded than South so I’ll take them 28-14.

I think Central Hardin wins a competitive game.

Something has to give as the class 5A South Oldham Dragons play up a class, putting their 6-game winning streak on the line against 6A Central Hardin (8-1), who is coming in riding a four-game winning streak.

South leads the all-time series, 3-1, with three straight victories, including a 43-7 win in 2019 and 26-6 victory last year.

The two teams last played in Etown in 2000, when South won, 22-12, in what was then a district matchup.

Mike Montgomery and Mark Neu have the call on www.pegasussportsky.com.

The above broadcast is free and the one I recommend, if you have the NFHS, this is the paid version but the free one is better:
