Jake is a more explosive athlete, to be sure, but in terms of everything you want in a player, I'll take Evan 100% of the time.  More consistent, much better team player, more consistent from the peri

Who?

Campbell Countys big will not be playing this year.  This will most certainly be a huge hit on both sides of the floor!

7 foot always matters, doesn't it?

Yeah, I guess as a conversation piece.  Sometimes it seems as high schools and college programs use a different measuring stick.

Please explain, can you really tell the difference between 6'10", 6'11", or 7'?  Does it make you a better player, being 7' as opposed to 6'11"?

Yes to your question 1 to 2 inches depending on which two you are comparing. Pants can be a real pain to find.

Now to answer your question how you intended it to be answered. The avg player height in KY is probably shorter than 6’5”. So it does matter because you are talking 5, 6, 7, 8, inches diff between the average player and a big man. Also most coaches fudge the numbers and if you truly have someone that is that tall it does make a difference in game play. So 6’10” to 7’0” not a real diff but 6’10 to 7’3” is a big diff.

Personal question where you a PG?

Not to be nitpicky, but the average height for a player in the NBA is 6'6.  It's safe to say that the average height for Ky high school basketball players is not 6'5,  I'd venture to say that there likely isn't a team in the state who's average height is 6'5.

Average height for each teams tallest player may not even be 6’5.
