Is it July yet...

Thank you for this important and necessary interjection.

Could be KCD, Collegiate or Ballard. All have great tennis teams.

Have we forgotten who has the best tennis program in the state; not to mention the best on campus high school tennis facility. For the boys it sounds like a no brainer to me.

This is a very stange topic. This is high school. Parents change jobs, relocate to another city. Children, and that is what they are until 18, move with their parents and go to school in the district where their parents live. Any discussion about a child living in another city to play a sport is ridiculous unless there is some special family situation oran extreme talent which can best be developed at a specialized school, music ... But to play sports? Lets get our priorities straight!

^ Nobody said it was solely to play sports...but if Katie and Bobby Jr. feel much more comfortable being here, playing here, etc....it is not crazy to want to finish school, then go wherever. I have heard a million differing stories in regards to the kids. I do know that Nick was at the LIT game the other day, and I have heard that there might still be a chance that Bobby's wife and the younger kids stick around here for a bit.

Early in my life I moved a total of 11 times with three kids. I never moved my kids during a school year. It is not unusual at all to have your family remain and finish the school year. I believe my priorities were straight!

We must have the best grass to run on since we wear the Cross Country crown also.

Maybe I misunderstood, my comment is based on this discussion being ... will he stay for his Jr and Sr years, NOT to finish out just this school year. I agree it is very common and also agree good to finish out one school year if the family must move during the year.

What is tennis?

At the Trinity Banquet today Nick presented a gift to OC Andrew Coverdale. He mentioned how hard it must have been for AC this year because his family did not move to Louisville when he did. Nick then said he knew how hard that was because his family was moving away, he shed a tear or two, and then said he knew that his Trinity family would help get him through it.

Even for a crusty old guy like me it was very touching.:D

No, but.....

Wrong Thread ..... This is about Bobby Patrino JR.

I don't understand this comment?

Someone already mentioned St. X.

My comment was to point out that he may not be considering either St. X OR Trinity, that there are other schools he might consider for his tennis playing son.

For the record!! Nick will stay and graduate from Trinity. Bobby Jr. and Katie will head to Atlanta this week and older sister will graduate from UofL. The Trinity family will miss all of you and best of luck in Atlanta. Can we close this thread. GO ROCKS!
