January 8, 200719 yr I hate to see Barber retire. He seems to be a great guy on and off the field. The NFL needs more like him.
January 8, 200719 yr Tough loss for the Giants. They got no one to blame but themselves. Had great field position for most of the 1st half and let stupid penalties beat them for the most part. Giants could have, and should have won...but they decided to beat themselves yet again. I could see Coughlin getting fired, yet it wouldn't surprise me either way. He led the team to back to back playoff appearances and if he had lost @ Washington last week or got blown out this week the decision in my mind would have been a lot easier. I will definetly want to see a new D-Coordinator and the same on O.
January 8, 200719 yr Giants snuck in the playoffs. They didn't really deserve it with how they played down the stretch... good win for Philly. Good bye to Tiki.. good luck acting.
January 8, 200719 yr Look for a complete overhaul in NY, could Parcells be the man again? It's possible. I've heard he'll be interested in the GM job for some reason. Also heard the Giants list of candidates for the GM position COULD include: Pioli Belichick Parcells Of course Parcells or Belichick could be Coach/GM both. Not sure the Giants would want to go that route...

The Giants won on week 17...had they lost...and still made it...I'd agree that they didn't deserve it. But 8-8 and getting in isnt so bad in the NFC considering 9-7 won the west. They got in, and deserved to be there.
January 8, 200719 yr Westbrooks td run was a huge momentum shifter. That's not what killed the G-Men. They tied the game up after that...they're weak D on the final drive got the Giants beat. They couldn't stop anything. Typical of the Giants this season. Offense makes a play...and the D does nothing.

We will see is the Washington win saved his job.
January 8, 200719 yr I tell you who had a pretty good game for the Giants was Burress. He had one heck of a catch in the first quarter.

January 8, 200719 yr Yeah and didn't have another one till the 4th.:sssh: The guy played a huge game. 5 catches, 2 for TD's. The Eagles double covered him and harrassed him all night. He would have had a huge catch, but got interfered with and drew a 47 yard penalty instead in the 3rd. He ended up with 5 catches, around 90 yards and 2 TD's...he played a GREAT game. :sssh:
