Bill Parcells Bill Belichick Charlie Weis There are a ton of rumors on a few Giants boards that Belichick could be a future candidate...but I still find those hard to believe. I'd love to see him come in whether he came in as a GM/Coach or just a coach.

January 10, 200719 yr Harsh. It's big news that Coughlin is most likely coming back... Most had left him for dead. What I think is even bigger news, though, is the fact that the Giants turned Parcells offer to GM the team down.

All of this is just rumors as of now though.
January 10, 200719 yr The guy played a huge game. 5 catches, 2 for TD's. The Eagles double covered him and harrassed him all night. He would have had a huge catch, but got interfered with and drew a 47 yard penalty instead in the 3rd. He ended up with 5 catches, around 90 yards and 2 TD's...he played a GREAT game. :sssh: I think Burress played a good game, but the interference call was because Eli under threw the pass. Burress had the DB beat and Eli didn't get the ball to him. Big break (good call) for the Giants.
January 10, 200719 yr The Giants did in fact extend Coughlin's contract 1 more year...but Coughlin has stated that there will be changes. I look for Tim Lewis to be fired or for him to resign. I would hope the Giants will add a new OC, as well as a new DC.
