ESPN: Doctors give green light to David Pollack to play football again!

Featured Replies

No apparently you're missing the pint. There is never going to be a guarantee from anyone that this injury couldn't happen again while playing football, doctors can't even say that.

It could happen to anyone.

So...what's the point?:D

If his odds of being hurt like that again are the same as everyone else's, IMO he'll play again. If it's more likely he could do it again because of his injury, he won't play.

The difference is if he breaks it again, we won't be talking about whether or not he'll play again.

Undoubtedly he'd help the Bengals on D, but I'll have no problem with him walking away from the game.

I agree completely.

Great news for David and his family that he has come back this much.

NO, NO, NO

Not a guarantee that it won't happen again-of course it could happen to anyone.

A diagnosis that he is not MORE SUSCEPTIBLE to have it happen again.

Big difference.

Glad to hear all went well.
