No one likes a losing record but the team faced a really rough road of competition.  The new coaching staff got out of a series (or at least 1 game) with Johnson Central too when they took over to replace it with Atherton.  We saw how well that worked out last week.

For the record, I think Coach Clev is a heck of a coach, and would be a much better option for them.  My whole point is that players have to take accountability as well.  It's a bad look when players are talking about "not wanting to play" yada yada yada... Play the game because you love it and want to compete, and represent your school in the right way.  It seems to me with the continued dominance of Boyle Co. you have a lot of Danville's athletes one foot in/one foot out the door.  Anybody who's played sports have had coaches they may not like or even respect, but you still go out there and compete because it's a game and you love it.

Looking from outside and not knowing any of the back story of why he got let go but it’s almost like an Auburn Coach. Win a title or SEC then they have 3 bad seasons and gone. So I guess my question is why did they get rid of him? Peach is off to rough start in year 2, but could he flip the back half of the season and save it for a playoff run? There probably was a multitude of issues as far as rubbing past admin. wrong way, and my Danville people can allude on it more.  But to my knowledge, the baseball coach son didn't get the starting nod at QB.  I think that set the table for the events that followed.

Lots of internal issues led to a change.  It wasn't supported by the community, team, most parents, or boosters, which is why Bob Allen does not sponsor the Danville bowl game anymore.  The win-loss record of Clevenger's last few seasons was not helped by LCA going to another level with their play and Somerset doing the same.  But most fans understood that and accepted that the Ads were "blocked" in the first round of the playoffs by the intra-district format.

I think this bye week is coming at a much needed time for the Ads.  It's a great chance for a reboot before district play starts.  The team has talent, although the QB play is a deficiency.  As an Ads fan, I want Peach to turn it around because it is much better to celebrate wins than take so many losses in a row!
