Elder fumbled three straight kick-offs from Moeller, all recovered and turned into touchdowns.  Moeller is certainly better than Elder, but the score is a little misleading.  If they play again it will be much closer, although I'd still make Moe a solid favorite.

Still one week left in the season, here. However, Calvary Christian has wrapped up their district.

I'm not sure how they seed the playoffs after the district champions. If like last year, after the district champions, the remaining 4 spots in the region are seeded by RPI. With the new classification layout, who knows? 

 

I got to see the #6 nationally rated defensive end, Keon Keeley, at Berkeley Prep against Clearwater last Friday. He is 6'6" 250. The kid is strong and fast. Clearwater was double teaming him from the get go and was unable to slow him down.  The only thing that did was the rain, which came early in the second quarter as a torrential downpour, so hard I could barely see the home stands. 

For what it is worth, Berkeley's tuition is something like $30K/yr. Their 80 acre campus looks more like a college than a high school and the Straz Field House at the end of one endzone of the stadium is impressive. However, the stadium has nothing on Marshall Stadium at Trinity. In fact, Highlands and Boone County, two other high school stadiums I am familiar with in Kentucky, are better.

Berkeley Prep does have field turf on their practice field, though. Something I've not seen at a high school.

I tried looking up the box score with no luck. If anyone can post it here that would be great. Because I'm dumbfounded by how any team could could score 48 points per quarter, with no mercy rule.

Max Preps has a "box score" but as you can see they left it blank.
