Table Setter: The turf in Tomahawk Valley may still be smoldering from the events of Week 1. Madison Central outlasted visiting LCA 38-34 in the opening weekend's most riveting display of guts and glory. And they got it done without the services of Brady Hensley and Kenyatta Hardge for most of the second half. Jayden West came up big with three touchdown receptions, the last of which came in the dwindling moments of the game to put the Indians over the top.

Dunbar lit up East Jessamine for 47 points in its season opening win. Ethan Teall (241 passing yards/2 TDs) and Cole Colony (175 rushing yards/3 TDs) spearheaded the effort. This game kicks off a four game stretch of opponents ranked in the top 10 of 5A or 6A for the Bulldogs. They'll find out a great deal about themselves in the coming month.

Madison Central has won four in a row in the series and 8 of the last 9, including two games last year. The regular season contest resulted in a competitive 34-24 Indians win before Brady Hensley went off for 321 yards and five touchdowns in a 43-7 playoff rout.

Madison Central should take this pretty handily.

I'd say fireworks in the 1st quarter. Expecting Dunbar to open the playback early to surprise the Indians. Madison Central looked super composed last week, so I think they distance themselves in the 3rd quarter.

Dunbar is underrated and catching MadCent at a great time, just like the underdog in this spot.
