I can comment on the following games:

SK/Newport- Split SK winning first half and Newport storming back from 6 or 8 down with a minute or so left to take the lead in the final seconds of the second half.

Conner/NCC- Conner winning both halves 

Conner/SK - Split SK winning first, Conner the second. 

If Newport can keep this group together, they will be heard from in a year or so.

How did the holy cross and conner game go?  How did Highlands look?

Newport is gonna be decent this year. But with only one upperclassman on the team, they have a shot to be a top team in the state in 2 years.

Conner won both halves-  First Half was tight, Second was not.

Highlands looked and played like Highlands.  It appears they have split their team up into two teams, possibly even split the projected starters for balance from what i could tell.  The "Blue" team was solid and very competitive! Seth Ryan looks to have put on some muscle and really stood out to me!  Size seem to be the only issue.

They were also without Will Herald yesterday I believe.

Look for a big year out of Seth!  He has put the time in this offseason.  Kid has a high ceiling if it comes together for him.

Javy did play, but could not locate the basket, Big Sam is still Big Sam.

I won't go that far out on the limb, but they'll be decent.

Holy Cross must have some work to do.
