The worst thing in the world for Lyon County is that CovCath played Holy Cross twice and are used to having to defend a high-volume, super-talented guard who can really fill it up.  I think seeing Jake Meyer twice will really help them, while they aren't exactly the same player, how you want to defend them in groups will serve them well.

I think CovCath is up 8-10 at half and wins by around 20.

I won't say that you're wrong that CovCath won't get the win, but even with Perry being such a great shooter, Lyon is not a one trick pony like Holy Cross sorta mostly was (well we can't forget Javier Ward), and they've got that Sweet 16 juice and intense heart going. I see them hanging with the Colonels for 3 periods before the wheels fall off.

Ashland is the common opponent these teams share ~

Lyon Co.

12/18, Loss 81-87 - at KoB/Lou. Fairdale (Perry - 32 pts.)

Cov Cath

1/29, Loss 60-71 - at Ashland

3/17, Win 76-65 - at Sweet 16/Rupp Arena

The worst Covington Catholic student turnout I’ve ever seen. They typically fill up the entire section.

Struck me the same way. Taking this one for granted?

Perry, all 4 Lyon pts.

Hussey, 3 ptr for CCH

4-3 Lyons, 5:56 1Q

It is clear Lyon County is willing to give up three point attempts and so far, CovCath is all too happy to oblige.

They've spoiled you all with great turnouts from 1967-present. Who's jaded in this scenario?

Those who set the standard for greatness bear the burden for upholding it!

I watched Lyon at EKU.  FYI.
