Ahh, okay. I thought you meant more recently than that. 

I was confident then it wouldn’t be him. After his last “interview,” I wasn’t sure they’d give him an honest look, which was the source of most of my doubt. He’s been the front runner behind the scenes so to speak since Mack took over. 

I’m still not sure how well he’ll do, but if he’s the best available, I’m ready to roll. 

Man, showing my age here, but growing up in the 1980s when Louisville was one of the top 5 or 10 programs every year, Denny Crum was a god to me.  Hurts my soul a little bit to see him looking so fragile and old.   Wade Houston still looks like a million bucks though.

He still gets around pretty well! He’s at almost all home games.

I know.  It's a visual thing.    I was also wondering if KP had lost that southern drawl he had when he first arrived in Louisville in 1985/86.  I guess the answer is yes.

That was a man that was absolutely humbled to be in the position he is in.  Now I want to see him get to work.

Two good men and fine coaches! Really enjoyed watching the friendship Coach Crum and Coach Hall forged over the years!!
