If he is a senior and he does not play any spring sports he will skate? Punishment can carry over to next year if he was ejected?

If he is a senior and plays no spring sport then it is school systems responsibility to make sure an appropriate punishment is incurred. It is a school system's responsibility to educate and in real life actions have consequences. By the senior year in high school that should have already been learned or if not it should be explained with a just punishment to reinforce the lesson.

I have a hard time hanging this issue on the coaches.  Yes, the coach should set the expectations for conduct on the court, but this is something that should have been taught at home.  I taught my sons how to keep composure in adversity.  Emotions are high in the post season and people make mistakes and make bad decisions, but this is not totally the coach's fault.  Just my opinion....

I agree that this starts at home....but with prime-time examples like Juwan Howard of Michigan, the young people are hardly getting strong examples of how to act maturely.....

And if a child watches Juwan Howard and feels like it is now ok to not keep your emotions in check, that’s on the parents too. As a parent, whenever you see behavior that isn’t appropriate from someone a child may look up to, you have a teachable moment that you need to work through.
