Isn't Cov Latin one the elects to bypass the District?

In the boy’s 41st District, the 4 seed has ended up winning the tournament the last two years.  And that’s also while playing three tournament games, due to having a five team district. 

So no, keep basketball district format as it is currently.

I’m not sure about the rest of the state, but in the 9th (Owensboro), we had the number 1 team get eliminated by the number 4 team 2-3 years in a row back around 2016-2018.

Glad to see the discussion. There are blowouts in basketball and baseball just like football. I want all teams to have opportunity so I  am in favor of all teams playing in the postseason in all sports.

They did bypass this year, but played the past 2 years if I am remembering correctly.  I heard somewhere that if teams forfeit playing in the districts then they forfeit their share of the gate.

Glad to have the conversation. I actually wouldn’t change a thing. I just wanted to start this conversation because it happens every year on this site. It amazes me how quick people on this is site are so quick to want to see changes for one sport. But when it happens in Basketball everything is ok.
