Fish Fries 2022

Featured Replies

I've heard rumors that a couple of parishes/locations in NKY have cancelled their fish fry for this year, not due to Covid, but due to higher food pricing.  One said even if they raised their prices just a little, they still probably wouldn't make any money.  So, rather than leave people with a bad taste in their mouth (no pun intended) by having outrageous pricing, they've just decided to not do it.

Feel free to post the status of any that you know of.

I've seen a few from NKY Catholic parishes that friends have posted about online:

Immaculate Heart Of Mary (Burlington, KY)
March 4 - April 8
Drive-Thru: 4:30pm - 8:00pm
Dine-In: 5:00pm - 8:00pm

Mary Queen of Heaven (Erlanger, KY)
March 4 - April 8
4:00pm - 8:00pm
Dine-In/Drive-Thru/Curbside Pickup

St. Paul (Florence, KY)
March 4 - April 8
4:00pm - 8:00pm
Dine-In/Drive-Thru

St. Timothy (Union, KY):
March 4 - April 8
4:00pm - 8:00pm
Dine-In/Drive-Thru/Curbside Pickup

St. William (Williamstown, KY):
March 4 - April 8
4:30pm - 7:30pm
Drive Through Only

Usually St. Augustine in Covington has a weekly fish fry, and St. Agnes in Fort Wright has one too...I've not heard status on either of those as of yet.

I believe they have usually had one one at Holy Cross High School too, if I'm not mistaken. Haven't heard about that one either.

Just was reminded about has one...

St. Bernard (Dayton, KY):
March 4 - April 8
5:00pm - 7:00pm
Dine-In/Carty-Out

(And FYI, that's pronounced "burr-nerd" not "burr-nard", lol.)

Just verified that St. Augustine is having theirs, as usual, this year. That one was always my family's go-to for a quick in/quick out without having to wait in line for any more than maybe 5 minutes at most.

St. Augustine (Covington, KY):
March 4 - April 8
4:00pm - 7:00pm
Dine-In/Carty-Out

@nkypete

Looks like St. Agnes is having theirs too. Their Facebook page only listed the first four Fridays of Lent...so I'm not sure about April 1 & April 8.

St. Agnes (Ft. Wright, KY):
March 4 - March 25
5:00pm - 8:00pm

Dine-In/Carty-Out

St. Barbara in Erlanger/Independence off Turkeyfoot Road is having one from 4:30 to 8:00.  This past Friday, the place was packed by 5:00.

The St. Barb's parish is definitely involved in the community, so I'm not surprised to hear they had a great turn-out.

My kids go to St. Agnes, so that is the one we attend.   It was packed by about 5:30.
