Don't Raiders and Chargers BOTH get in with a tie?

They do.  I know they won't, and it's nothing against Pittsburgh, but I think it'd be hilarious if the Raiders and Chargers just kneed the entire game to take the tie.  Especially if the Patriots and Bills have already won, because at that point neither team could even do better than a 6 seed.

Plus it would teach the NFL a lesson about which games they flex.  They knew this was a possibility, and let that game be on SNF anyway.

And teach them a lesson on even having ties to begin with..

Obviously they won't take a knee the whole game, but I definitely could see either team not taking risks late in the game to make sure they at least get a tie. There will be some screaming if that happens.

If only the Steelers get to play the Bengals in the playoffs.

Please let that happen. The drought would be over.

Chiefs are who the Steelers would play in opening round, so long as the Chargers/Raiders don’t end in a tie. They can’t be above a 7 seed. That means if they win, they’d play the Titans in second round. Only way they’d play Bengals at any point would be in conference championship - and wouldn’t everyone find that acceptable?

yes maybe they should get together before the game as both teams just take knees for 70 minutes and both go to the playoffs. ??

I'm 100% here for that being how tonight's game plays out.  I'd laugh my butt off if they kneeled all game, didn't attempt to block punts and just took a 0-0 tie on national television lol
