      Hopefully Cole Lanter made some believers out of the few doubters last night. Was easily the best player on the field.

    As a Boyle county fan, I was as happy about last nights game as anyone was.  I certainly thought they could win but thought they would need a really good game to do it.  They did play a really good game but I expected more of a fight from FD. 

    As far as FD goes, they had much bigger problems than one of the players holding a press conference to announce his college choice.  He earned that time and I had no problem with it.  FD were out "fundamentaled" all over the field.  The 45 minutes that press conference took would have made no difference on Friday.  I'm happy for the kid and hopes he has a great career at UK. 

    Boyle played as a team Friday night and have learned to rely on each other this season having replaced so many starters and their 18 or 19 year defensive coordinator.  Haddix has guided this team well this year and they will be a hard out in the playoffs.
