I don't have any inside info, but I would expect both to play on Friday.

Old Hickory is a great bbq place on 25th about 1/2 mile from stadium.  Big Dipper is great drive thru burger place out on West Parrish, and right by moonlite bbq.  If you want buffet, moonlite, if you want a great pork (Boston butt) sandwich or mutton (lamb) - without a doubt old hickory.

LB Jaxon Panariello hasn't played in scrimmages so not sure he's back or not. I assume he's out. TE/P Bennett Boehnlein is going to be out a few weeks. That's only starters I know of. I don't know if there is another team that has had as many injuries as St.X last 4 years.

I know they've had guys banged up since fall practice began. They lost a DL for the season with a torn ACL, and OLB Penarillo is still out. I don't know if many players will be out because of injury for tonight's game, just know they've had several players miss practices because they've been banged up.

Absolutely. Sivori started his first varsity game at QB as a freshman because the two starters had knee injuries. 

If Jaxon is not available that's a big loss - kid is a stud OLB.  From the O side, LG Jerrick Williams is out, didn't play in the scrimmage.  He's a load and mobile, so that's a big loss on the O-line.

 

X can absorb better though because of superior depth.

One disclaimer for both teams - Both Cancelled big scrimmages (X vs Freddie D and O vs. BG) O also had 10 days of CoVid restrictions in the last couple of weeks, so I'm sure there is some dust to knock off.

Good points.

Also a cool stat I saw, according to Jason Frakes, this is the first meeting between St X and Owensboro since the 1964 opener, which St X won 14-13.  Hoping for another close game tonight!
