I also will say Elliott played helter skelter in 4th quar. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that is mine. Now Ill end with saying I'm not to upset because seven games in last year they were 5-2. Seven games in this year they are 4-3. Just one game difference. Change Russell to Owsley this year and we would be 5-2 again.

Those kids get along. I do not see selfishness as the problem, just shot recognition along with a defense that gives up the drive way too easy immediately followed bya reaching foul. Elliott will work it out. The players will see to that if the coaches cannot.

The kids did manage to coach themselves to the regional championship game last season. I think they'll get it all worked out, as well. Just not there yet.

As soon as all of those problems go away and Elliott starts playing a little defense, they'll be right back up in the top 3, IMO.

Elliott Co. is made up of QUALITY kids, they will get it figured out.

I did not see that from Elliott last night. It may have looked more like it at times simply because they Elliott did not get the number of shots they are used to taking. This was a result of East doing such a good job of ball control offense which limited Elliott. Give credit to East

Sportsfan I saw the same thing & your comment is true the kid was more open & closer as the ball went completely to the other side of the court in heavier traffic. However, its hard to believe this was intentional, maybe the passer just did not see him at that time. Anyway arguing at times is not unusual at any level of basketball it just needs to be corrected if it is constant. Just as you say I think Elliott will be fine.

Those kids have always found a way to win at every level. What they lack in size they make up for in effort and talent. They will not surprise anybody this year so it will be a little tougher. Sometimes the forced shots in the halfcourt game are a direct result of lack of size and a little impatience. That will change with maturity and a little coaching.

Just as at any other level or type of sport, others always think they can do a better job, but if those of you really were such great coaches than you would be coaching somewhere.
