Louisville lands Australian punter

Quite the virtual recruiting effort by Coaches Holt and Maslowski(?). Wondering if he's an Australian Rules Football player.

I know a little bit about Brock Travelstead, UL's freshman PK/P. I would've thought he'd be the guy next season.

Same with UC... James Smith was one of the best punters in the country during his 4 years at UC.

Pro Kick Australia produces high level punters every year.

Memphis having a Ray Guy Award winner from Pro Kick Australia in 2013 was what really made punters from Australia start to get big in the college game.

Utah punters from PKA won the award the next 3 years followed by the Texas Punter and then Duffy.

Six of the last seven Ray Guy Award winners were from Australia with 5 of those being produced by PKA.

My son played at EKU and was a 4 year starter at long snapper.  His first 2 seasons he snapped to Aussie Jordan Berry, who has been the punter for the Steelers the last several seasons.  His last  2 years he snapped to another Aussie in Keith Wrzuszczak, who ended up being an FCS All-American at EKU in 2017.  Dean Hood brought both of those guys over and I'm thinking it was through Pro Kick Australia.  Jordan would have been there from 2010-13.  I think Coach Hood is also responsible for bringing Duffy to UK while he was special teams coordinator there. I believe he also signed Jordan's younger brother before leaving to take the Murray State head job.
