Couldn't agree more, what a joke of a basketball season.  What ever team that can stay covid free could win the sweet sixteen.

Should be a good game but I think X will take this one!

I think this will be extremely interesting.    Haven't seen either squad yet, so I'm looking forward to it.  

My gut is saying St. X, though - and a win against the Birds might give X a valid claim at a berth in the top 20....

If 2 of the 3 shooters are hitting, along with Vinson getting his averages, I say Birds by 8-12.  
 

if you look at the Birds scores, when they get consistent shooting, they put up some points,. Now, they also may give up some points.....

I don’t know much about the Birds other than their football coach search but looking at their record, they appear to be pretty good, so I’m going with a toss up and hoping my Tigers come out on top.

The Birds are entertaining. They have a legit D1 signee in Sam Vinson, a near triple double average, and surround him with shooters everywhere.  They are fun offensively.

I think it will take Mudd a couple more games to ramp back up for St X. I think Highlands takes this one. 

With the cancellation of the East Jessamine vs. Seneca game, the St. X - Highlands game will now kick off the Ronald McDonald House Classic.

I'm doing a final look-over of the stats....two great shooting teams....both from the field and at the line (both about 73% at the line)....two contenders in their respective regions.....two long-time coaches....two D1 commits.....

This is "can't miss TV"   ?

For St.X, if Varga is knocking down his shots this will be a close game. Carroll for the Tigers does a good job of controlling the things offensively and has a very good knack at getting to the rim. I’ll take the Tigers in a close one. 

It will be interesting to see how Highlands bounces back after an emotional loss last night. Quick turnaround against a rested St X squad.
