Final Cats lucky to survive this one give Vandy 2 great looks to tie it. A big 3 by Mintz with :45 seconds to go for the win.

Their best lineup is probably:

Askew, Mintz, Allen, Jackson and Sarr. But Id maybe start Toppin over Jackson to help prevent foul trouble for Jackson.

Great play call by Calpari out of the timeout.

Agreed! I’m sure some on here won’t mention it, but great play call by Cal and good execution by the players.

It still wasn’t pretty, but it is nice to see the offense starting to make some progress. It started last game with Allen. Then this game Sarr looked like the player we thought he would be. Mitz has been pretty solid all year, and overall much better job by everyone protecting the ball.

The offense still has a long way to go, but it is showing some signs of life. If Brooks ever comes back, that will help a lot. They key will be if Boston can ever figure it out and play to his potential.

At the end of the day it is a win, and it is now two in a row. Keep stacking wins on top of each other! Plus 2 and 0 in the conference.

Winning heals all wounds!

Hard fought victory and a total team effort. Askew and Sarr played great. Toppin with some key buckets and hustle on defense. Allen took advantage of his looks.

Don't know how that last shot for Vandy didn't go but we'll take it!

The four spot really hurts the offense the most IMO. Jackson, Ware don’t really give us any offense. Topping has his moments. Getting Brooks back would be huge for this team. He can play the four and they can spread the floor out even more. Plus another threat to shoot the ball.

Pippin Jr. sure is good at finishing around the rim, especially for his size.

Perfectly drawn up and executed.

Wasn't pretty but I will take it.  Cats won this one at the charity stripe.

Right now that's the best 5.  Ware gives you an excellent option too.

Still, Boston has to get it together for this team to be what it can be.

Poor Boston is just terrible, both ends of the floor.

I noticed how bad he was on defense tonight too. I guess there are plenty of reasons he didn't play the final 7 minutes.

Didn't realize, Kentucky only had 2 turnovers.

I don't care if you are playing against air (seriously), that is an amazing stat.

Gotta ask. Why is Scottie Pippen's son's name spelled Scotty?

Yes it is.  Speaks to the improvement that has been made, specifically with Askew.
