Cowboys 30 Bengals 7

Featured Replies

Final another terrible game by the Bengals. But I guess on a positive note it keeps us having a higher draft pick than the Cowboys.

Think about this only the Bengals could lose a game to a team who was 3-9 by 23 points and have 2 more first downs, 37 more total yards and have a 9 minute and 22 seconds advantage in time of possession.

While other teams' slogans are "We Play For Championships."

Out Bengals mantra is:  "We Play For Draft Choices"..

The Bengals now gave them self some security for a top three pick. The Bengals could even possibly luck into a win in these next 3 games, and still would pick in the top 3 now no matter what.

It have to be a HUGE amount of luck and would have to happen against Houston!!

Am I correct in saying that the last two first round picks have both suffered season ending injuries? In fact, I don't think OT Jonah Williams played at all last season. Mixon being injured has really been a big blow!

The Bengals first round picks have all been injured or missed a significant amount of games for 6 consecutive years I believe. While the Bengals don’t always do things that help themselves out, they are also extremely unlucky at times too.

Ced O. (Injured when they drafted him wasn’t cleared until halfway through.)

William Jackson (Tore something in training camp, missed whole rookie season.)

John Ross (Injury when drafted and then just kept getting hurt)

Billy Price (Drafted when injured, then hurt his ankle during the season missing games)

Jonah Williams (Injury in camp led to missing his whole rookie year)

Joe Burrow ( Tore his Knee up halfway through the year.

Drafting injured players in 3 of their last 6 first round picks is all you need to know about the Bengals.

Ross and Price were injured when drafted? I don't recall that.

If I remember right, John Ross has something wrong with his shoulder when he was drafted.

Price tore his Pec muscle while doing the Bench press at the NFL combine in February. Was able to be cleared by training camp, but was unable to do much with his upper body for four to five months after the injury.

John Ross suffered a shoulder injury at the end of his final college season. He waited until after the combine to have surgery on it. Plus dealt with injuries much of his college career.

Thanks. I do recall the Price injury. That injury is definitely something to consider on draft day.

The Ross injury was a not an issue that would cause concern for teams on draft day.
