Probably the last Billy G. team. I think this team right now is worse than the N.I.T. hopeful they will improve it is still early and are missing Brooks.

The Irish are leading 40-22 at the under 4 timeout. This team just doesn't shoot the 3 well enough right now to be able come back from a large deficit. They will probably lose this one by 10 or 12 unless they just quit.

Man this is getting ugly quickly.

It’s not just that they can’t hit the side of a barn with their shots .....but they can’t play a drop of defense either. That’s a a terrible combination. 

If your offensive skills are challenged that’s one thing, to not play any defense or play hard is unacceptable.

53-33 Irish at the first media timeout the Cats did it get it down to 17 a couple of times.

Notre Dame has given the Cats several chances to get back into the game. We just can not shoot well enough to take it. The Irish has went almost 4 minutes without scoring and Kentucky has only cut 5 points off the lead. It's 53-38 at the under 12 timeout.

The Cats have come to life with the help of the Irish going over 8 minutes without a point. Timeout Notre Dame the Cats have cut it to 53-47 with 8:06 to play.

Cats have it within 6 with about 7 minutes left. Showing a little bit of fight for a change. 

How did Mintz lose that ball??? Darn! Going up for a 3 shot and lose the handle on the ball. Could have cut the lead to 2, instead a layup on the other end. 

I’m happy Kentucky at least showed fight, got it down to four. Unfortunately looks like some of their luck has run out.
