Weren't some people prediciting X by 10 and more and that Burrell would light the Cats up? This Cincy team, once they start to gel, is going to be very dangerous. Deonta Vaughn reminds me alot of Downey, only bigger and more of a scorer. It's good to see a freshman coming in and assuming that role as a leader. It makes everyone else pick their game up.

Well of course anything that comes this year is a bonus but IMO the potential is there for this year, they just need to gel. Xavier is a good team and this is a huge confidence booster that they needed. I think we''ll really find out how good they are this sat against Ohio St though.

December 14, 200619 yr Crap, I was planning on predicting a UC victory, because the teams that is usually suppose to win never does. But I decided not to make a predicition because as much I could see UC winning, I was also saw XU winning by 20... Congrats to UC on a great win!!!

UC is on winter break, and a small number of student section tickets were released Monday. Those tickets sold out around noon today. Most were picked up by X students that for some reason left early...
December 14, 200619 yr Example #126 that the least talented team does really well in this series. Hats off to these young Bearcats on a GREAT win. Mick and the Boys were the men tonight. Doellman and Burrell were a joke. Doellman might as well have stayed home with the wifey and watched Santa Claus III with Tim Allen. What a heart-less performance by a 4 year starter. How could anyone argue that Sean Miller got flat out-coached last night? Cage and Duncan were the only guys in Blue that showed the least bit of effort. This Xavier team has a LOT of improving to do if they don't want to wear the banner of biggest disappointment in XU recent history. Sad, sad XU performance.
