I think they are OK with sucking in front of a mostly empty stadium.

As evident by their signing of Max Schrock.  They claimed the IF off waivers and filled out their 40 man roster with a guy who has all of 17 major league at bats.

I grew up with the Big Red Machine.    We were fun to watch, easy to admire, and arguably the best team in baseball in the 1970s.

It hurts to see what we've become.   My 22 year old son - also a fellow Reds fan - laments that "at least you (dad) got to see the Reds win championships!".....

Reds sign former Angels reliever Cam Bedrosian to a minor league deal with an invite to camp.

This makes me believe they are leaning towards having Lorenzen being a starter.

The Reds got their shortstop, Barry Larkin.
