I don't believe anything the CDC ever has to say about anything and the fact that this came from California makes me believe it even less if that is possible.

Seriously, go to the mask science link I provided instead of CDC/Cali Junk Science.

I have… If the CDC isn’t to be trusted, literally no information from any of those links is trustworthy.

One of the links talks about masks creating “jets of air,” causing bacteria to fly out, insinuating that wearing a mask may actually increase the odds of transmission. That is as ridiculous of a take as you’ll find and cannot be taken seriously.

That website looks like someone searching for opinions that agree with their own and putting them all in the same place to attempt to gain validity.

Actually more than one study has suggested mask wearing may increase the odds of transmission for various reasons.  We have known that for a long time.

I don't trust the CDC because I believe the CDC is corrupt.  I do believe many of these studies listed by mask science are genuine attempts to explore the science vs. pushing a narrative.

It looks to me like they have accumulated peer reviewed studies from multiple sources and reported the findings.

Just because they put a little “peer reviewed” icon next to a link doesn’t make it more credible.

We can agree to disagree on that point.

Referencing the bolded.  The science on masks and pandemics was quite settled before 2020.  It had been studied many times.

As far as the CDC goes, its flip-flops and changing of definitions since early 2020 leave it with serious credibility issues.  Even if you still believe it has the populaces best interest as their goal - It has a serious revolving door issue with medical and pharma industrial complexes.
