This is one that is circled on both teams calendar every single season. Boyle vs Catholic, one of Central Kentucky’s best district rivalries. Neither school likes the other and this game has determined the district champion for the last 14 seasons. Boyle (3-0) has won the last 5 over Lexington Catholic (2-1) with Boyle’s last loss to them being in 2016. Will Coach Haddix continue the streak started by his predecessor or can Lexington Catholic swing the pendulum back in their favor and knock off the Rebs?

Don't see LC making much noise this year.  Don't know their QB but if Beau Allen couldn't beat Boyle I doubt this cat can.  I like Boyle pretty big.  In LC's loss to Lex. Christian they threw for 190 and rushed for 61.  I think it's gonna take a lot more offense to threaten Friday night.

Boyle County may be the 2nd best team in Ky. Rebels by 30

Would love to see this one! Will they sell tickets at the gate?

Boyle is the second best team in the state in 4A.

No other game compares to this game.  This is THE week circled for Boyle County Football.  Catholic week!   Go Rebels!  It's district time.  3BF29D84-5123-4C60-BD51-A9B542DABE2B.thumb.jpeg.c3de7107bc38e176b40cb51f8364e25e.jpeg

Last I checked Fayette County is a red covid county again so this game may not be played this week unless something changes by Thursday night.

I am not sure, but the red code may apply to the Fayette County public schools only. If that is the case it would then be up to Boyle whether they want tp play there or not?

If it gets cancelled they can play St.X.

Yeah, I was looking forward to it but it all worked out for everybody in the end except Manual and CAL.

Just read that if Lex Cath game were to be cancelled that St. X vs Boyle was a real possibility.
