Here is another question...

LT and Brees are the run away choices for MVP. Is there a chance Devon Hester could get a few votes? I say, why not? He is the reason they have won a couple games this season and has closed the deal on a couple of more.

I'd say there's a chance he could get votes, but anyone who would vote Hester MVP over LT should have their voting rights immediately taken away.

29 touchdowns. And, LT isn't finished yet.

LT is more impressive. Hester is great, fun to watch, and what he's done is impressive...but not as impressive as 29 TD's with 3 games to go...especially when you consider that after 4 games this year he had been to the end zone three times. That's 26 TD's in his last nine games for anyone who struggles with math...

Oh yeah, no doubt. But, I think it is realistic to think he could sneak up to the #3 spot; at least get some votes. Which is amazing, imo.

I am glad he has replaced "The X Factor" as best return man

I'm more impressed with yardage than TDs for a running back. And yes I know that LT has plenty of both this year.

I know this is a stupid question, but who is the X Factor...?:D

TD's for returns are impressive, often the result more of overall speed, quickness, poor tackling and not the typical NFL offensive/defensive player.

L.T's current record, is more impressive for several reasons....His durability, being tackled and hit, during the course of the game. He has blocking assignments and 300lbs± coming at him, all the time. Corners, Linebackers and Safetys, will be looking for him. Defensive schemes will be designed, to try and negate his ability.

If you're comparing Moe Williams with 10 TD's to Tike Barber with 2,000 yards and 3 TD's, then yeah...

...but a guy doesn't roll up 29 TD's without some massive yardage.

I'm sure I've heard him called that at some point, but I don't recall it. That's the thing about return men...it seems kinda random with them...you put a guy with super speed back there, let him and the special teams unit get some confidence and stuff like this can happen...how many kicks did Derek Abney run back as a junior at UK...how many as a senior...

I'm not comparing pro and college here, just the random nature of return TD's...it's not even close to as impressive as what LT is currently doing.

I completely agree, it seems as though it is just speed and a little luck to get it in sometimes......

He used to do that X symbol with his arms across his chest everytime he would make a big play. I am not sure if Dhante Hall has scored this year, on a return that is. He scored a TD this past Saturday late in the fourth quarter against the Ravens.

My favorite TD celebration...

I will say Hester and here is my reasoning.

With Hester he has an extremely long distance to run to score these touchdowns. Kickoff returns are usually between 0-15 yard line and punts are usually kicked atleast 45-50 yards. I mean Hester can't get a 1yd kickoff return TD. LT has a lot of advantage because the team can drive the ball and he can score from the 2 yard line if they give it to him. Not saying that's always the case but more so than Hester taking 50+ yard runs for all his TD's.

Also Hester has to go through the whole team, although he gets blocks almost every return has to scramble somehow. LT does similiar but IMO not exactly the same.

Final score Hester 2 LT 1.
