My concern is the offense. Only 13 rushing plays and 23 passes. That is only 36 offensive plays.

I didn’t say I was worried about the kicker who missed. I was just inquiring about the sophomore kicker who has a high national ranking.

it's Nolan Wolford. Prokicker.com rates him as #5 kicker in class of 2023. Cameron Tegge rated #36 kicker for class of 2021. These are their national ranking.

Thanks T94. I thought they had a highly rated 2023 kicker. Just couldn’t remember his name.

After watching the game, St. X looked like a team playing their first game in a very long time. Bowling Green, while making mistakes, look like they were ready to go. It's the first game and changes will be made to ensure the players are in a position to be successful. I think they'll be ok. 

I am not saying they need to be the second coming of 1990's Nebraska in the running game, but they need to be able to consistently rush in the 150 range to be competitive with quality teams.  That is also assuming that the passing game makes progress as well.

I am more concerned about the line play/blocking in the running game than the running backs.  There was just not much room to run.  And it was not like BG played a stacked box against them.

Also, I need to give BG credit for being ready to play play.  BG did not play a real clean game, but they were persistent, resilient, and physical.

I watched a replay of the game on the NFHS Network and most of the comments are correct. This game could have been much worse on the scoreboard.

The X QB looked like he has an arm was that the kid from out West? But he's not very mobile at all. That's why I like Sivori and thought he'd be a really nice QB for them.

Is Sivori still on the team?  I didn’t see his name on the varsity roster on the STX website. 

I believe Sivori is still on the team; believe he dressed JV too.

Yes, from Colorado. He’s not fast but does have good arm.
