Trinity 44 Archbishop Moeller (OH) 7

Featured Replies

Final per the update thread.

Absolute dominance from the Rocks. I scored a ticket about an hour before kickoff. It was 37-0 @ the half. Trinity put a running clock on them as Guru predicted. For nothing more than my ego, I predicted;

T-48

M-7

I was close.

You nailed it Tank!

Score looks like what I expected. Trinity looked like well oiled machine.

I've obviously not kept up, but how was this game able to be played?  I thought I'd read earlier that St X Louisville and St. X Cincinnati had to be removed from each others schedules this year?

As for the game, congrats to Trinity on a butt whoopin.

Any KY team can play an OOS team, as long as the OOS teams county borders KY.

That's what I thought, so now I still don't understand the game being canceled.

It is shocking how far Big Moe has fallen off the past few years.

I think because Ohio was starting so far ahead of Ky. with all the uncertainty, that Cincy X had to fill a game.

Trinity was originally scheduled to play Life Christian VA tonight, and I believe Moeller was open. Trinity would've played Moeller next week in Cincy, I think, but since the LC game couldn't be played, Trinity brought Moeller here.

It's because the regular-season in Ohio now ends before that game was scheduled to be played. I believe Cincinnati schools have just three weeks of the regular-season left.

Just not a competitive program right now. Hopefully, the new coach can get it going in the next few years.

They have really good sophomore class and freshman have started 2-0 so far. I think in two years they will be competitive. I see their JV and Freshman teams since St.X has played them last few years.

That's what I was looking for, thanks.
