Ashland has beaten the 9th rated team in Cantrall and also 15th rated Butler, is undefeated and yet is rated 18th??? They’ve also defeated another Cantrell too 25 team in Trinity. I’m not saying Ashland is number 1 as the AP has them but they’re better than Cantrall’s 18th.

I take it someone in Laurel County had an AP vote.

In all reality, they're probability right where they belong.

Splitting the difference would leave Ashland about 9th. Which is where I would put them:

1) CovCath

2) Ballard

3) John Hardin

4) Male

5) LexCath

6) Oldham County

7) Madisonville

8) Fern Creek

9) Ashland

10) E-town

The discrepancy between these two polls is hilarious and essentially tells ya that neither one is accurate. High school basketball is hard to rank, but once again I feel like the BGP rankings are the most accurate.

Thanks @InsideSlant ....I edited them into the original post so the three can be compared from the get-go for anyone checking this thread.

I agree with you I’ve saw most of the teams in the BGP top 20 I think it’s pretty much spot on.
