December 5, 200619 yr Sorta of topic, but on Cowherd's show today he was having callers attempt to sell him on UM being #2. A lot of them keep mentioning how the NFL does things. He then went into a rant about the differences between college and the NFL. One of his points was the the NFL pays its players while colleges mostly do not. Anyway it made me chuckle.

Since it's not, I have a major problem with what went down. I don't like a situation that makes rules on the fly without letting us in on it...
December 5, 200619 yr The 12 team rule is why BC is in the ACC and not the Big East. They need one more for a Conference Cash Register game after Miami and Va Tech made it 11. Maybe you only follow the SEC... My apologies for being in school and not having my job being following sports. Get with me next year.

I can't believe you are on the other side... I don't think it was a sinister plot among 33 guys. Both teams could make a legitimate case, and someone had to get the shaft...I agree that the system will continue to get tinkered with to try to avoid this type of thing happening more often...
