Had a conversation with a journalist today that will be covering the games this weekend, and we started talking about potential margin of victory in each game.

 

Do me a favor, rank the 6 games by what you think will have the highest margin of victory down to the game where you expect the smallest margin of victory. Do you see any of these games getting out of hand?

Pikeville vs Paintsville

Belfrey vs Bell

Mayfield vs Somerset

Boyle vs JC

Cov Cath vs FD

Male vs Trinity

 

I really don't think many of them could be by a wide margin with the exception of the first two.

I would think most will have 4A, 5A, and 6A as the 3 smallest margins, but I will expect a few to predict Boyle winning by a really big margin.

Belfry vs. Bell and Paintsville vs. Pikeville are wildcards.

 

I could see a scenario where Belfry blows Bell out, but the most likely scenario is it is a tight game.

 

Same thing for Pikeville vs. Paintsville.

 

I don't see scenarios where Bell County or Paintsville win big... but in both cases it would not shock me if Belfry and Pikeville won handily.
