Jerry Palm of College BCS, was just on ESPN Radio, and he believes that Florida will move ahead of Michigan in the computer rankings and all that Florida has to do is inch closer in the human polls, which he thinks they will by having beaten a top 10 team at a neutral site.

He felt that UF getting the extra game and winning by 10 actually helped them. For so long many have lamented the extra title game for conferences.

I think Florida's in the championship game. Strength of schedule and a killer conference should get them in. And the telecast commentators said the same. Congrats to the Gators and the SEC:dancingpa

Arkansas will not be a Top 10 team in the formula...

I nearly fell out of my chair when I read that! Seriously, they were laying on the homerism pretty thick at some points. I really don't see the controversy here though. Do any of the non-SEC fans(or non-Big 10 fans) think that UF is a better team than UM? Because the ultimate goal of the BCS is to get the top 2 teams in the country in the title game. One can only hope that logic and reason prevail tommorrow.........

I'm starting to doubt it. If so, you won't hear another peep from me. Florida didn't look very good getting to where they are, but they got where they need to be to get in the mix. It would be hypocritical of me to think otherwise...
