Final.

Wasn’t at the game but got updates texted to me by a friend in attendance. Dayton is at 4-1 and hosts Berea at Davis Field next Friday.

There may not be a better story in the entire state this year! Congrats Dayton! If I were a documentarian, I'd head to Dayton to tell this story. So happy for those kids, coaches and the community.

I completely agree, things are far more up in just changes made in only half of a season for Dayton. It’s an understatement to say that things are brighter for the Greendevils.

And to be frank, things could not have swung more negatively for Bracken. The churning of all major sports coaching positions has to stop.

Hopefully things improve for them again in the future. It stinks when things change for those reasons.

You are absolutely correct. Dayton would be the place to be for feel good stories next Friday night.

Not only are the Dayton Greendevils having a resurgence, but the Berea Pirates, who have struggled mightily for the past few years, are having a banner season.

Previous to this season the Pirates were 1-29 over the past three seasons. They are presently undefeated at 5-0.

If in the preseason you had said 4-1 Dayton will host 5-0 Berea on October 4 you might have been put in the nut house!

Was hoping to read about another Dayton win.

Again congrats to everyone in the program.

It is great seeing these programs rejuvenated. Congratulations to Coach Herbst on the job he is doing a Dayton.
