Ryle 20 LaSalle (OH) 0 (Frosh)

Featured Replies

Did not attend but heard the Ryle Frosh continue to play extremely well. Cincy Elder up next. Congrats to the Frosh Raiders!

Always good to beat up on Ohio teams. I saw LaSalle frosh lost to Mason (OH) 58-0. Mason must have a great frosh team to put up a score like that on LaSalle.

I was at the game. Ryle defense continues to impress, as they still have yet to surrender a point this season. Last week's win over Boone county (51 - 8) was a special teams score. The Ryle offense has quite a few kids contributing making this team fun to watch. Elder at Ryle next week will be a challenge.

This is great news for Ryle. The Raiders had a very nice freshman team last year and again this year.

When was the last time the Ryle frosh weren't strong? Seems like they are always at or near the top of NKY football.

I don't know the answer to that question, anyone?

When I saw them play last year I thought they were well coached and all the players were buying in to the team/coaches/etc.

I think the current senior's lost 2 or 3 games as freshmen. The current Junior's had a losing record as freshmen. The current sophomores won the NKY Championship last year.

What was the Ryle freshmen team's record last year? One or two losses?

Last year, they lost to Highlands, LaSalle and Elder. Highlands was their only team to beat them in NKY.

This Senior class has also added some great players who have moved in or decided to play. Specifically Coker, Savage and Teepen. All have played vital roles in the team’s success thus far.

I was going to ask the same question.

Here’s an example of how it has translated to Varsity play: when the current Senior classes of both respective schools were Frosh 3 years ago , CCH won 7-6 with the Ryle kicker coming up short on a 40 yard field goal at the gun. The Varsity final score this year was 37-0 CCH, and without the running clock would have been worse. I’m not sure if it is coaching, kids quitting or all or the above, but just when I think Ryle will be top shelf in a few years, they are not.

Didn’t the running clock start late in the game? I know it was in the 4th quarter.

I don’t recall-I think it was late 3rd. The score was the point I was trying to make.
