September 24, 20196 yr Author Tonight's episode covered 68-72 and was a strong episode, especially with some of the groundwork that has been laid in previous episodes. I'm not 100% sure of the other three, but Mother Maybelle Carter deserves to be on the country music Mt Rushmore. From her inventive guitar playing to what she and family did to build country music on their backs. Her influence and that of The Carter Family may never truly be out of real country music.

September 25, 20196 yr Author Just finished the series On-Demand. For me personally it ended perfectly, actually exactly as I would have scripted it. Last episode tugs at the old heart a few times.

September 25, 20196 yr It would only be fitting if they ended the final episode by playing George Strait and Allan Jackson’s “Murder On Music Row”. I suppose all music genres evolve over the years and country sure is at the top of the list. The country music awards shows these days are almost indistinguishable between rock & roll awards shows.
