I wonder how it’ll feel for Coach Wallace to coach from the opposite sideline at El Donaldson Stadium?

I’m pulling for BG but I think it will be tough for them.

Cal preps project a matchup has it St.X 19 and BG 14. Just shows this should be close game.

Bowling Green is my upset pick of the week.

I know this is traditionally a close game and I think the score may be close, but I have a feeling the game may not be as close as the score indicates. I don’t think St. X will shutout BG, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the St. X defense controlled the game and causing BG a lot of problems offensively. I just don’t think this version of the Purples has the multiple playmakers like in years past.

I'm thinking based off what I saw when I watched the Rafferty's Bowl and Vito not playing offense. I haven't seen the past few games and if he does get a lot more touches then it's a different ball game similar to last year because Vito is a game changer. But if his touches are very limited I'm not sure there's an offensive player that can stretch the field that gives the St. X defense major concern like a Vito. But I'm also not as well versed in the BG roster this year either; just going off what I saw from earlier in the season.

I don't know how much the St. X offense will score. If St. X gets in predictable passing situations or they are struggling to run the ball the BG defense will cause the St. X OL problems with their movement and stunts.

I didn’t realize Bowling Green doesn’t have visitor stands. I assume the home stands will be full so St.X people might want to bring a chair or sit on hill behind visitor bench.

They have small bleachers on the visitor side, at the top of the hill. Also, the stands rarely ever get to max capacity (Last time I remember being the McCallie or Blackman games, I could be wrong). The BG X game is always crowded, but there’s usually still seats available. You never know though!

I remember in 2011 when BG played Warren Central the stands were completely full! That was a great environment that night.

Agreed, I love that stadium when it’s so packed you can’t even find a place to stand on the track.

The very first South Warren game was really packed as well.

 

Concerning vistor seating, as @Volxtile correctly mentioned, there are small bleachers behind the visitor side, but the majority of fans (home and visitor) sit on the large home side. Traditionally, the visitors side is from the scoreboard end to about that 40 yard line. There is usually a rope dividing the two sides (which didn't work too well during the Blackman game - HA!). Or as your facing the stands from standing on the field to your right. But you can sit anywhere really. But there are some home fans that have "their seats" so you might get some looks if you sit in one of those! :lol2:
