Cooper 36 Campbell County 0

Featured Replies

The Jags really found their stride tonight. Total domination on both sides of the ball. Led up front by #72 and #53. They were animals all night long. Total domination from start to finish.

Stated in the prediction thread. Cooper’s defense has been solid all year with 2 shut outs and only giving up 27 total points and when they find their rhythm on offense they are a pretty good ball club. Congrats to the Jags and keep working!

The offensive coordinator needs to be fired.

Now someone being fired is a bold statement to say the least. It was the same offensive coordinator that they had last year and I didn't hear any complaints? I said earlier in a thread that this was one of the worst teams that Campbell has had in a very long time. We just have to take our lumps and hope that the talent pool in the future looks bright. What else are you going to do?

Win is a win. Wasn’t pretty but I will take a shut out every time! There should have been 2 more scores in the first half. Yes, it’s easy to say that but Cooper killed at least 2 drives with either flags or turnovers. Against good teams, you can’t make those type of mistakes.

The offense looked better. There is talent on this team. They have not found the right combination of 11 yet to move the ball for a sustained offensive drive. Good to see 21 get a shot running the ball.

Defense... it all starts up front. When the D-Line demands a double team on the guys up front it becomes a numbers game. Someone behind the D-Line will be free. Glad to see a previous thread recognize this D-line. Time to give them props.

Each week is showing improvements. This is a grind and Cooper is moving this in the right direction. Great win. Clean up the mistakes on offense and this team has a fighting chance. Play your game Cooper no matter who the opponent is.

Why? He has 3 guys out on his O-Line, The QB that was going to start, His RB got hurt last night in the 1st quarter. Also Campbell has a week senior and sophomore class. So why should he be fired?

Talented sophomore running back Brendon Tye also with a very good game. 167 yards rushing on just 13 carries with 2 tds.

The coaching staff as a whole needs replace with the exception of Woolf period.

Campbell has been mediocre to less favorable forever. Need young aggressive minds that can see and know how to use the talent wisely.

Last year was an exception. Had a pretty solid class. This year has solid players. The problem is not playing talent. He plays the elders even though they dont deserve to play. Constant mistakes from them because there is zero accountability from the OC. Splits, wrong routes, bad snaps, coaching the center holding the ball wrong, wrong wrong play calls mostly. 3rd and forever and run the ball on opposing end zone. QB keep because were out of ideas..Running plays with QB rolling out against their throwing arm, on short side of the field...running routes for the long ball. Not the short crisp routes to gain momentum.

Just needs to go. His offense has forever been transparent for too long.

Correction, this isn't the same coordination from last year. One touch down in 4 games, that isn't good.

It most certainly is. Same OC.

Yes it is.

Last year was Troy Steyer.
