BBHS/Silver Grove

Featured Replies

Brossart visits SG for the first time since BBHS was a DIII, a far cry from where BB is today. What does everyone think about this game?

My predictions are BBHS will throw it inside early and often as SG has no one to counter the big man. Look for Troy Cooper and Nathan Mutsch to have big nights.

My pick: BB-75

SG-50

Troy Cooper leads all scorers with 20

Corey Pelle will lead all scorers. He will probably lead Northern Kentucky in scoring this season.

He very well might, but if Uebel is guarding him for a big part of the game, he will definitely have to earn those points.

This is a definite mismatch. Silver Grove who typically has 12-17 kids in each grade period.....cannot produce kids with the size of Cooper and Mutsch. Corey will get his but Cooper and Mutsch will have a field day down low.

BB- 72

SG- 48

Pelle drops in 24 and Wiseman gets 20.....

Brossart by 20+

Uebel will give Pelle problems on both ends because of his size and strength.

Brossart 68-42.

From a person in the know, and whose basketball IQ I trust, tells me that Corey is going to be a very exciting player this year. He also expects a lot from the Big Trains. I'm not sure that they can beat Brossart, but from the sounds of it, I wouldn't be surprised to see a 10-15 pt. game.

Listen to the JV and Varsity Games Live Via The Internet Starting At 6pm at:

Live Broadcast

This will be our first attempt at a live wireless transmission, so we will hope for the best.

Should the live wireless transmission not work out, the broadcast replay will still be available immediately following the conclusion of the varsity game.

Precisely what I was thinking!

They don't have many this year, but McCarter (sp?) from a couple of years ago was a pretty big boy!!

Troy Cooper is a bigger train than Silver Grove's.

BB-70

SG-54

BBHS should win easy.... I say by about 15-20+
