This rumor seems to be all the rage in the MSU circle. UC fans are already talking about a replacement. It was reported that they had hired the Browns DC this afternoon, but the tide seems to have changed. If he goes, I wish him the best. He'll once again be the enemy, but such is life...

Hope they don't hire him in the middle of UC's bowl game. That was the most classless thing I've ever heard of a university doing.

I think he is gone and it is a darn shame. Gosh UC sports has really taken a hit this last couple of years. I was sitting here yesterday thinling to myself that Cincy was going to be a real player in the Big East title mix next year and then the Spartans steal another coach before the Bowls are over.

I know that MSU has a lot of history and such...but with the recruiting hotbed that is Ohio, and especially Cincinnati, it wuold be cool if he stayed.

It doesn't take a genuis to look what happened to twin brother's coach when he went up there. MSU has a potential to really be a career killer, it's be tough for State to compete with Michigan yearly but fans expect it.

If Dantonio is out, it's time for UC to make a BIG move. There is a TON of young talent at UC, and they need a name coach if this is completed as expected. Do all you can to keep Narduzi as the DC, and go from there...

UC doesn't pay anything to its football coaches.

I think Dantonio is the second lowest paid position in the Big East.

It is a stepping stone position.

Right now, it's VERY hard to say. From what I hear Dr Zvil has not put "her" name in the ring to stay as President. Things at UC are as stable as an active volcano these days...

He's at least been offered the job. MSU has a press conference tomorrow scheduled and Dantonio is meeting with the players at UC but this meeting was set a while ago tho before the MSU stuff came up. But it does sound like a done deal tho.
